About AGA#

AGA (Jiang Haijia), born in 1988, is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter of Spanish descent.

She grew up in a musical environment: both her parents were musicians, and she started learning guitar and piano at an early age. Before her official debut, AGA had already written songs for artists like Hacken Lee, Fiona Sit, and Kary Ng. In 2013, she entered the public eye with her original work “One,” which became a champion song on all four major Hong Kong radio stations.

In 2020, she won the Gold Award for Female Singer and the Gold Award for Singer-Songwriter at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards. In 2023, AGA held her first solo concert, “ONEDERFUL LIVE,” at the Hong Kong Coliseum, allowing more listeners to see the fruits of her years of hard work.

AGA’s voice is clear but not airy; it sounds gentle yet has a solid foundation. She doesn’t rely on vocal acrobatics to drive emotion but instead uses her articulation and breath to gradually bring out the intimacy in the song. This is the most significant difference between her cover and the original.
